• KPC is a battery company established in March 2000, and is currently raising 4M USD, which will allow us to grow beyond our BEP by having larger productioncapacity, reinforcing our global marketing activities and strengthening R&D of improved products.
• KPC is addressing huge emerging market with innovative products based on patented technologies-Bluetooth headsets with coin shape rechargeable LIB named PowerDiscTM, rechargeable hearing aid with ultra small PowerDiscTM, Robots and electric vehicles with slim large capacity battery named PowerNote. Our reference customers include Samsung, LG, Casio, Citizen, Swatch, Logitech, Nextlink for PowerDisc and Toyota for PowerNote.
• PowerDisc has been recognized as the best coin type rechargeable LIB with excellent performance and reliability. We are targeting 10% market share in rapidly growing Bluetooth headset market (CAGR of 35 %) by 2008. Current competition is with lithium ion polymer makers including ATL, TCL and Lishen.
• Ultra small PowerDiscis being developed for rechargeable hearing aid, for which company A is carrying out business development with leading hearing aid companies. Rechargeable hearing aid with advanced hearing algorithm will start selling in 2008 and will replace the current products using primary Zn-air cells in the next 10 years. Currently there is no competition that canthreaten our growth in this market. company A is anticipating, in the long run, over 50% market share in 250 million dollar market.
