SkyCross acquires Chinese antenna firm

SkyCross has announced it has acquired Shanghai Universe Communications Electronics Co. Ltd., a Chinese antenna manufacturer, for an undisclosed sum.

The Viera-based, privately-held SkyCross said the acquisition will enable the firm to provide expanded global support and high-volume manufacturing to wireless consumer electronics companies.

SkyCross is a global wireless company providing antenna solutions to the mobile phone, home entertainment and computing industries. The combined company serves a range of market segments, including handsets, data cards, laptops, access points and mobile personal entertainment devices.
