TOKYO — Ajinomoto Co said Thursday it will form a capital and business alliance with Japanese processed food maker Yamaki Co in an attempt to enhance its food operations. Ajinomoto, Japan's largest seasoning maker, said it plans to acquire a 33.4% stake in Yamaki, based in the city of Iyo, Ehime Prefecture, by the end of March 2007.
